Now that they appear to break into the big time. Pick your team. Upvote Ole Miss, Down Vote for MSU.

State is a more complete team. They are better.
But Ole Miss is at home. I don't know who wins that game but I think State is better.

State deserves their ranking but unlike many I have little doubt that Ole Miss takes out State on a neural field.

I love State but I'm not convinced we're the best team in the country....yes we are winning and unbeaten but there are several other teams out there who are in the same position.

For the time being, State deserves to be higher than us. Taking out 3 top 10 teams in a row is hard to top. But Ole Miss will get the chance to usurp them and be number one. I think they have the better offense, while we have the better defense. If both teams are still intact, then we have one hell of a showdown coming this year.

Still, I'll give them their time in the spotlight. As an Ole Miss fan, I like being the underdog and kind of hope we're #2 in the nation when we play a #1 State. I was laughing my arse off during Gameday that they all picked A&m, and pray to god Corso puts on the Bulldog helmet when they almost inevitably return to the Grove for the Egg Bowl.

Pulling for tLandmass to keep winning. Would be nice for both to hang two losses on the rest of the west and then settle it at the end.

From what I've seen, the only other team that comes close or has an argument is Ole Miss.
State would skullfrick Notre Dame and FSU imo.

Well when you lose it's hard to stay in the top 10. Auburn will finish in the top 10 and that's our marquee win. If ya'll beat Auburn and we beat Bama then OM and State will be the only ones finishing in the top 10.
That doesn't take away the fact we beat 3 teams who were top 10 at the time to earn our ranking. Same as Ole Miss...to get to the top you obviously have to knock some teams out.
