We still need to see how things play out, but he is doing a bang up job so far. That first screen pass against LSU set the tone for the game, and it was pure genius. Hopefully he has learned that compassion is over-rated.

That 3rd down call in the 3rd after the fumble TD was awesome. So huge that we converted there.

Was that the screen pass Allyn was referring to? Either way I thought that was spectacular.

This. I think that really put the game back in your hands. Had y'all gone three and out the game dynamic would have been completely different.

No, I am talking about the play where Malcolm Johnson lined up as a fullback. Dak faked our normal read-option and hit Johnson in the flat with no defender anywhere in sight.

We beat them after gifting them 14 points and subbing in/playing prevent for parts of the 4th quarter.

It was a pretty dominating win.

There was NO fumble; not that it made any differ.

Yeah I didn't think it was a fumble at the time either.

I'm just happy he actually called plays to win. In the past, in big games he called way too conservative.

Our first play. Went for like 20 yards or so. To be honest, it was a perfect called game except the last 5 minutes. That last drive of the 3rd qtr was a thing of beauty. 99 yards. it was a shame we got a holding call instead of punching it in.

Yep. Relf and Russell were one dimensional in their own ways, with Dak he can really mix things up and be comfortable.
