Mississippi State plays an LSU team in Baton Rouge who hasn't allowed a single point in 9 straight quarters of football. Mississippi State shut out Southern Miss (who Alabama allowed 12 points to) and held two Alabama powers to a measly 37 combined points.

SMU may very well be the worst team in college football, has just lost their starting QB, and just had their coach resign. Even before that happened, they had a putrid offensive line and were basically shut out against both Baylor and North Texas before they connected on a miracle hail mary in the final seconds in Denton. They face an A&M team that is looking to prove that the incredibly sloppy play against Rice was a fluke and finally gets their starting MLB and WLB back from injuries.

MSU scores 17 on LSU. Not sure SMU does that on TAMU, but it very well could happen. That defense is bad again over in college station.

I'll be impressed if State scores more than one touchdown.

For reference, SMU scored 3 points against A&M in 2012 and 13 against A&M in 2013. Yes, 13 points against the 2013 defense that allowed over 32 ppg.

Lulz. Wisconsin scored more than 1 and our offense is much better than theirs in every statistic.

I am totally cool with determining better teams based on statistics.

That's just mean. I like it.

I expect LSU to win, but it should be a good game. SMU... not so much.

Mississippi State will score more points on the first drive than SMU has scored all year to this point.
