Coming into the 3rd Saturday in October Alabama will be ready to face a mentally defeated Tennessee Volunteer squad. After starting 2-0 and having the hopes of going bowling, the Vols hit a brutal buzz saw that featured a Big 12 anal punching by Oklahoma, followed by the anal ramming of Georgia's run game that features 4, count em, 5* running backs that racks up over 350 yards on the ground on the Vols. Those two beatings left Tennessee with little to be desired from the rest of the season, but Florida raped that little. Muschamp's D made the Vols qb a little squeamish as it was too much to take in. Tennessee spirits are up lifted a week later after playing patty cake with the Mocs. After going through this roller coaster of emotions from assaults, the Vols try to get it together, put on a happy face and give it the ole college try against the Tide. Do they have what it takes?

I miss CJ.

I don't. Seriously, those kinda players are so damn special - they get the whole team going. We need more of them. They make football fun to watch and I think they're the reason this conference has always loved defense but without those guys on the field defense isn't nearly as fun to watch.

The tools are in place, at least on paper, for your D to be a lot better if DePriest can lead them. Even your DBs likely have the talent but I think mentally they're holding themselves back - over thinking plays (all of them can't be bad). Of course, I hope none of them figure it out in our game but I do think they're capable.

Bama had an incredible 5 year run but eventually all good things must come to an end. We've all seen the preview by watching Bama give up 79 points to AU and Chokelahoma.

So if we are counting last year, why are we throwing out the 45-10 win by Alabama over UT?
