You my friend are worried about the wrong things as a priority to the success and failures of the 2014 Aggies Heres my opinions of week one. A&M has a glaring need for a power running attack to ward off comebacks from foes when the Aggies have a lead. Its all fine and dandy to throw the ball 50-60 times but it will bite them sooner or later. A&M has a six point lead with just over three minutes left in the game...can they run down the clock? If not they may be opening the door for Mr Comeback. The secondary is not very good right now...but hopefully the young frosh will develop quickly. The Gamecocks showed up fat and lazy...but I think they were way over rated...qb play was spotty and wrs were not much help. They didn't establish a run game in part because of their playing from behind and I think their OL is over rated. Their dbs were definitely not very good and should have had their hands all over the wrs to wear them down. Watch UFs secondary for an example of how you cover wrs. Remember...the physical hounding of wrs will result in drops, altered routes and picks eventually. Muschamp is a secondary coach who loves to play physical. Look at what we did to A&M two years ago on Kyle Field in second half. Not trying to throw wet blanket on your parade...because A%M wrs will wear out secondaries if not jumped on from the time the whistle blows....and A&M will have plenty of leads this year to protect...that's the good news! But I wanna see A&M play a physical defense that will make young Mr Hill have to look for his third and fourth target and by then he will be getting helped up off the turf by his OL or will need surgery to remove football from chest cavity. Looking at schedule it seems like A&M will not face talented secondaries that much....will be fun to watch...even though Im a 3 yds and a cloud of dust kind of guy

You didn't pay much attention the other night did you?
1. Kenny went through his progressions and threw to his 3rd and 4th targets. Tell me where he didn't?
2. Our OL is one of the best in the country...prove me wrong...and the NFL disagrees with you btw.
3. Our run game was not stopped...at all. Look at the freaking tape. We did whatever we wanted.
4. Did you see the last drive that lasted over 10 minutes to end the game.
5. We pass the ball when it's given to us...some of our short pass plays are considered "run plays" in coaches mind. Go listen to Sumlin and Spavital

You should probably worry more about your gators offense...

Well kickers and punters aren't generally included the returning starter number.

So 16.

And well see 2 people get kicked off the team.

So really 14 starters

Trey Williams averaged over 7 yards per carry

Brandon Williams averaged over 6 yards per carry

Tra Carson (230+ lbs) had over 5 yards per carry and 3 touchdowns (all within 5 yards of the GL)

Reading comprehension is so under rated.

1) I did not state that YOUR OL was over rated
2) Sure...you ran 99 plays...but read my post again carefully...USC is not what I consider a top 3 or 4 defense in the SEC honestly. They lost three great players on the DL...put them on the field and Mr Hill would not have had time to scour the field perhaps as often. Granted A&M throws quickly and keeps defenses off balance...JFF couldn't do it against UF in 2012 in second half...we adjusted and held you scoreless....but A&M did do well against some defenses...but go up against a REAL DL & secondary and things change in a hurry.
3) Sure....10 minutes drive yada yada...I wasn't talking about THAT game...just in general terms. An incomplete pass stops the clock....giving your opponent time. And BTW late in the 4th qt I doubt USC's defense gave a shite about stopping anybody..they were whipped.
4) My take was simply to address that A&M will face a stout defense later on and if they hold a 2 point lead at their own 25 yd line with 2:30 to play...if they don't run the ball then there is high risk of giving your opponent time to get the ball and kick a FG to beat you. Incompletions stop the clock and tipped passes can put your foe in great field position perhaps...then folks at A&M will have something to discuss.

Enjoy the win...it was an old fashioned behind the woodshed beatdown....never said it wasn't.

You and your fanbase are the worst thing that could have happened to the SEC.
