@wareagleextra: Not much change for Charter customers in the Auburn area, either. SD channels are 35 + 308; high-def is still channel 811.

For you old timers:
The SEC Network will be on channels 35 and 308 for standard definition. 811 for High Definition.

Just an FYI.

Also here's what will be airing the first two weeks

Has Charter decided what channel package the SECN will be on?

Haven't seen anything about it. I'm hoping Charter surprises me and actually puts it in the basic package but knowing them, I'm not getting my hopes up

ETA: just googled. This says "expanded basic"

My understanding has been that if you are in the 11 state SEC footprint (at least with Comcast), it will be considered a regional sports network and offered in the same tier as Fox Sports Net South, SportsSouth, etc.

Depends on your provider. Expanded Basic for charter is pretty much the basic package. If you have TBS, ESPN, TNT, then you have expanded basic.

Comcast has it on their digital starter package which is essentially the same thing as Charter's expanded basic.

This thread makes me happy. I was worried my shitty cable package at the apartment would not have SECN. However, it looks like I won't be getting any sleep next Saturday night/Sunday morning. Vandy's "Best of " block is 3 am Sunday Aug 17. #norespect
