That's a very solid offer list

frick yes. Dirt McGirt, you're next.

He's a very solid athlete. I have been hoping for the commit ever since he beasted out at a UGA camp this summer.

YES! I see the McGirt decommit put the pressure on him.

I hope Edoga doesn't expect a spot when USC goes 7-5

Lol c'mon. Kid is a +1 for UGA. You make room for kids with that skill set.
Some UGA fans kill me with this stuff. Thomas wasn't a take either, yet he got a written offer the 2nd day they go out.

I would take Edoga in a minute. I don't care who he is committed to right now.

Exogamy will have a spot all the way up to NSD. We'll make room if we need to.

That's a huge rating disparity between rivals and 247.

His commitment made an interesting twitter feud between Rivals and 247. Apparently Bartow broke the news twenty minutes before Allen's announcement.

UGA fans are the only ones who do that, obviously.
Thomas wasn't a priority for UGA. That doesn't mean he isn't a good get for Florida, just like players from FL that go to UGA who weren't priorities for UF. It doesn't matter. I don't know why that blew up so bad.

Yeah, Chuma Edoga would definitely be accepted whenever he committed. I doubt that is the story with Adonis Thomas, though. He is a good OLB, but he is not so good that he was going to be pursued regardless of his attentions to others. Basically, as soon as UGA felt the cooling vibe from him, they moved on.

Haven't seen the feud, but we did hear about it on our board before the kid got to announce. Kind of a shame that he couldn't wait until the kid made it official.

Bartow is saying that he had the ok from Patrick Allen to run the story early. I don't know much about Bartow; but Rusty, Gentry, and Jake have pretty good credibility. So what actually happened, I don't know. Taking it at face value, I wish he would have waited a bit longer even if he had the ok to run it. Let the kid announce it on twitter and have the story ready to go then. No need to keep the kid from being the first to announce his decision. Just goes to show what a cut throat business this recruiting game is on the media side as well as the universities side.

You're better than this...most logical UGA fans know that if Thomas wanted to commit, we would have more than likely found a place for him.
