In case any of yall missed what Muschamp had to say today, I will do my best to give ya the cliffs on what he said.

Tidbits

Still loves being at UF even with all the heat from last season.

Takes full responsibility for last year, injuries should be no excuse at a place like UF.

This is the most complete team in all components and phases of football he has had in his 3 now going on 4 years.

Austin Hardin is getting better every week and had a great spring. Wont know the real deal until its actual gametime tho.

He loves this years special teams, coverage and return units.

Offense

He immediately watched game film after the season was over and realized our best plays came out of shotgun, thus the reason he hired Roper. Also cited balance with Duke getting 20 td rushing and 20 td passing, and he thinks you need that to win in the league. (camera zoomed in on Malzahn with a big shite eating grin when he said that)

Said when called Coach Cuttliffe to talk to Kurt about the job that Cut wasnt to happy about it, but endorsed him for the job very proudly.

Pleased with Ropers development of Driskel.

Gonna use Driskels athleticism to hurt defenses way more this year.

The offense got way more done in the 15 day spring practice then he ever thought they would.

The offensive players have more spirit in practice and overall really happy. He is really excited about that. Said it was nice to see the kids having fun and excited to be on the field again.

Concerned about the backup qbs behind Driskel. Once he identifies who it is, they are gonna see alot of game time in mopup duty and sometimes maybe even in key game situations were its suitable.

DJ Humphries and Chaz Green both had outstanding springs and DJ is up to 295.

Feels good about the oline.

Max Garcia is now a center, said it feels more natural to him and he is a great leader.

Trent, Trip, and Tyler are championship caliber players upfront.

Likes the backup talent at the oline but hates the experience level.

Likes the new NCAA rule that you can now see your kids train during summer workouts, said UF has a great future at oline.

Deep and talented at RB and WR. Complemented Taylor on a fine freshmen season. Matt Jones will be our bruiser, he is at 230 and is carrying it really well.

Andre Debose will be way more involved with the offense and gave Quinton Dunbar a lil bit of praise.

Believes Ahmad Fulwood, Chris Thompson and Demarcus Robinson will make a tremendous jump this season in terms of football savvy and playmaking.

Valdez Showers and Lattroy Pittman will do nice things for us, might even surprise some people.

Said Jake McGee was a pleasant addition and an outstanding athlete.

Defense

We have a good mix of talent, that lacks a lot of experience but he will take talent over experience any day.

Said if Dante has a great year then the team is going to have a great year. Also gave a little praise to Bullard. (Fowler was at media days)

Likes the experience level at linebacker, happy the way some guys are coming back from injuries. Daniel McMillian is a young player the coaches are excited about.

Loves Vernon Hargreaves work ethic and attitude, was his favorite player to ever recruit, He just asked about if he had an opportunity to play at UF, never asked one time about depth charts, promises or guarantees and he earned every bit of it.

Were gonna be young opposite side of Vernon but the talent pool is there to be successful at CB.

Jabari Gorman looks to be a starter at safety. Marcus Maye needs to get more consistent, which he slowly has during the spring.

Injuries

Only 2 guys not hitting camp full speed.

Nolan Kelleher, just said it was a preexisting injury and JC Jackson (shoulder surgery) 4-6 month recovery time.

JC should be cleared for noncontact in August.

Put em through a hard offseason, had a really good spring, excited and ready for the upcoming season!

Gators gonna make folks moan in the SEC when we bust open on offense and pair it with a stout defense LSU, Mizzou and USC all come to the Swamp and will leave with an L.....book it. We might very well go to tuscaloosi and tear them a new one. The WLOCP will be one sided as we take our frustration out on them. Girls school may be one sided too.

I agree. I think UF goes 3-0 against those 3 teams.

It probably has a lot to do with the season slowly approaching. It's mostly been the regulars, but I wouldn't mind seeing a few guys from gatorsports.com since they shut down their message boards.

More than anything I just want to see this team play with an edge, and have some of that nastiness about them like the great teams we had under Urban, as well as Muschamp's 2012 team.

They actually shut their board down, damn didnt see that coming. Kind of sad, from 2000-2005 that was the best Florida message board on the internet. Place went to hell after the 06 season and had way too many sunshine pumpers.
