This is why I do not go to Lanier during the weekends or holidays.

Only time I've ever been on Lake Lanier, I saw about 20 high schoolers brawling on that beach. It was just a random Thursday afternoon in July. One kid got knocked out and fell into the water and they all just kept brawling, so we jumped in and dragged him out of the water.

You are a smart man Lanier. Same thing when i go fishing at my spot in the Gulf. I travel on sunday, fish on monday and tuesday and go home wednesday. I dont get near fishing on a weekend or holiday. Too much pressure on the fish and too many assholes in boats.

I hate being around the new boaters during those weekends. There are some real idiots on the water, like the ones that pull a tube of little kids through the busiest channel on the water.

I am in this video. 
like I said, it wasnt that bad this year. a lot of people are staying away from sunset and there wasnt that many people on the water this year

Around the corner from this spot is a channel where two marinas are at the end. They also rent jet skis. so its about a 1/4 mile of dumbasses pulling tubers, jet skis crossing, and 40+ ft boats. its a nightmare

That sounds just like Grand Harbor at Pickwick, and it's a narrow channel too.
