Oviedo, same school as Bortles.
Nope. Hagerty. Bortles' rival school.

ahh yeah you're right, I always get confused because Hagerty is in Oviedo.

I still think Driscoll can be a successful Div I QB, but he will need a lot of help from his supporting cast next season and I'm not sure that's going to happen.

If there were only a thread for top qb's in the "WEST".

He'll have the best supporting cast of his entire career. Assuming injuries don't decimate the team again.
The WR corp has the most talent its had since 2009.
The OL has 5 experienced starters, and two talented tackles. They just have to stay healthy.
The RB Corp is talented, and KT is an every down back in this league.
THe only question is coaching.

Then I think he'll be fine. Still think he needs a better running game than he'll have, though. And an Oline that can stay healthy. But if your run game picks up I think Driscoll becomes very dangerous.

Who in the SEC runs a more QB-friendly offense than A&M? Who in the league has a more highly rated QB recruit?
Driskel was the #1 QB recruit in teh country when UF got him.
Recruiting rankings mean jack shite.

Mauk being number one has more to do with a not many good qb's in the East.

1. Mauk
2. Mason/Thompson
3. Driskell
Not that many good options at QB in the SEC as a whole next year. Spot on with the Brantley comparisons imo.

Yup, but Thompson and Driskel suck. This I know

Here's a nice 4 page topic from 9 days ago with plenty of stats and legit discussion on this matter.

1. Thompson
2. Mauk
3. Mason
4. Driskel
5-7. Whatever they decide to throw on the field
This just made me cry realizing how much QB talent and Exp left all at the same time

quote:Mauk threw some of the prettiest balls I've seen in a long time in the spring game. He looks much more seasoned. I don't think he runs nearly as much this year, not sure if that's good or bad

Who is the starter?
He doesn't know and Dobbs isn't 3rd string.
