I read in another article that SS is against going to 9 games & wanted to do away with cross-division rivalries.
I had the following question pop in my head & wondered if anybody knew the answer:
When SS was @ Florida, WHAT was his opinion about cross-division rivalries? If memory serves, he never said anything about them.
Just curious why, possibly, change his mind now (other than the fact he's @ a different school).?

He had a rent-a-win cross division opponent at Florida, he doesn't at SCAR, while Bama does.

You're right...I confused myself with UGA, as the poster I responded to is a UGA fan. I thought he was getting confused with FSU, who is UF's regular in-state NON-conf. rival. I can't tell for sure, as the link he provided doesn't work for me...
I meant to say LSU, not UGA.....Spurrier had a 11-1 series record with LSU while HC at UF, which was the same record he had vs UGA too I believe...
