Back to math class techie.

The best part about the Nick Fairley / Aaron Murray debacle was the UGA line retaliating AFTER a play and trying to punch him under the pile... Couldn't do jack shite during the actual game.

Is the simple mention of Fairley now off limits to UGA fans? Even in the recounting of factual events?

there is no "now", that's the exact same scenario as my first example which you claimed sucks. It's been the exact same the whole time.

Your original argument is that auburn fans bring it up, then y'all respond.

Not at all, but to act like a thread is not about fairley, when the majority of the op is, is deliberately obtuse.

Btw, as lame as it sounds, I enjoy threads like this where people are actually talking about something and staying on topic. Seems like the past few years there's been such a proliferation of shitty trolls, alters, and idiots that it's nice to have these once in a while. Even if it is with nyc.

Some people get their panties in a wad when you have have discussions that have differing opinions. Discussions >>>>> trolls and flaming.

Eta, turkey.

The majority of the OP is telling a factual story about how Aaron Murray broke his sternum. The fact that Fairley is a big part of that story does not mean the OP is "about" him.

The only part that is "about" Fairley is the joke about how this was going to be a Fairley bitchfest.

The op contradicts your recollection. I still can't believe you re denying this, it's plain as day.

Statement of fact about how Murray broke his sternum
quote:

He [Denny Murray, Aaron’s dad] also told me that Murray was hurt a lot worse than people thought in that 2010 game against Auburn in which Nick Fairley was allowed to unleash a personal assault. Murray actually left that game with a broken sternum, in addition to shoulder and knee injuries.

Elaboration on Murray's injuries from that game, quoted from article.

In all seriousness, Murray is the goddamned Wolverine. Might be the toughest son of a bitch I've seen play.

Compliment bringing it back into the Murray subject.

It really doesn't contradict my recollection.

Quick question what are the first words of the op?

Nick Fairley. That's how you structure the sentence with an active verb in this case.

If the thread was truly just about Murray, you would have an entirely different op.

Your downplaying the joke is naive or purposely obtuse.

Either way I'm more than likely out of this thread.

I've got to peace out too. I'll just say that the responses of the first few posters in the thread sort of support my view of the thread being about Murray. After that, the thread got shitty quick.

There, last word. Hah

Actually, during their greatest most recent (relatively, I guess) success, their head coach was an Auburn man as well as the defensive coordinator that he depended on.
