"There were major concerns with how the season played out. Everyone was disappointed with the regular season from the top down to the boosters. He was not going to survive another NIT. The sweet sixteen run obviously bought him a fourth season, but nothing is guaranteed beyond that. If he fails to make the tournament next season that would be the third missed tournament in four seasons. I don't think there's much of a chance he survives that. To answer your question I'd say the chances of him being your basketball coach a year from now are about 50/50."

Good. I'm glad the administration isn't overreacting to that Sweet 16 run. If Hamilton was still here, he would have extended Cuonzo and gave him a big raise even though there is a chance he won't make it past next year.

Because he's such an elite, awesome coach and UT fans are assholes for having expectations, right?

It was a fortuitous tournament run, not at all indicative of his over all body of work.

There's no way we're making the Tourney next season.
With MJ Rhett not going to transfer here anymore, our 14-15 starting roster looks like Josh Richardson with 4 sides of SLAW.
