What was ever wrong with "the whatever bowl - brought to you by [sponsor name]" or "the [sponsor name] whatever bowl."
The corporate names hurt the bowl games more than the number of bowl games. It's truly disgusting.

Why do they spend so much to buy the name? Why not sponsor two bowls with the same money? Do they think they get more business? It is the stupid tax laws that create this.

I remember when their was talk of renaming the superdome the mercedes benz dome. all hell broke loose, and mercedes was wise enough to keep superdome in the name

Sorry, I tend to think of every bowl in Florida as a Georgia bowl since that's were your team is frequently found in the offseason

Well, that's still pretty weak reasoning for attributing UGA to the lowest tier bowl in the Florida/SEC slate.
