I assume one of the bowl teams you're talking about is ULL.
USA 30 ULL 8 December 7 2013
So yeah, a lot* better.
Okay. The fact remains that out of both of our ooc schedules we play 2 bowl teams from 2013 and yall play 4 teams who had 16 wins between them.

USA would beat the frick out of Memphis and probably would beat Tulane.
Tulane aint bad man. What bowl did south al play in? Remind me.

Honestly, Nicholls State will be the only easy win for ya'll. Arky will beat UAB too, but it won't be a blowout.
I think ya'll will beat Texas Tech, but Kingsbury is a good coach, so don't mark it down just yet.
Northern Illinois is a good program, and has been for a long time now. They've beaten SEC teams before *coughBamacough* and I could easily see the Huskies winning that games.
But here is my guess for ya'lls season:
at Auburn - L
Nicholls State - W
at Texas Tech - W (toss up)
Northern Illinois - L (toss up)
Texas A&M - W (toss up)
Alabama - L
Georgia - L
UAB - W
at Mississippi State - L
LSU - L
Ole Miss - L (toss up)
at Missouri - L
4-8 (1-7)
Best case: 5-7
Worst case: 2-10

Did you go to UAB or something? They are beyond terrible. That game will be easier than ULL was last year and we blew them out.

God an upset here would rustle the Aubie universe for years to come. It might just end Gus career

We do quite well on the Plains. What were yall ranked the year Gus was here, 4th? Payback is a bitch

This place will crash if Arkansas were to somehow win.
On the bright side, all of the 2014 Auburn posters would disappear with a quickness so at least some good for the board would come out of it.

I just don't understand how you keep saying that two of your OOC opponents went to a bowl, but dismiss the fact that one of these very same teams got drummed by one of our OOC opponenets that's supposedly so terrible?
Southern Miss and Boise were both scheduled when they were better than they are now. Also, y'all were supposed to play Boise when they were still good but pushed it back.
South Alabama is better than ULL.
UAB and Memphis, is there really any difference?
UT Martin and PRES? Not really different.
All I have been saying this whole thread is there is not a big difference, so the person that was saying ours was a joke was in the end joking on his own team as well.

6 wins will be a miracle

Swap Texas Tech and Texas A&M, and change Mizzou to an L IMO. 5 wins

I think they get bowl eligible this year.
No, I don't think so this year. We'll be better, but the record might not reflect it so much. Probably not bowl eligible until the next season. 5-7 (and I'm being a little optimistic).

Missy, I'm roughly with you EXCEPT -
I think we beat N Illinois, they will be breaking in a new QB, much the same as aTm. I think aTm will have better overall talent than N Illinois so I am more concerned about them.
I think we'll have a shot at Georgia in LR.
Posted on 3/21/14 at 10:31 pm to WonderWartHawg
Yeah, I had N. Illinois down as a W earlier, when the schedule first came out, but I've changed it just because I think Auburn & Tech are going to be such tough games that I'm thinking we might lose one of the first two OOC games, and N. Illinois seems to be the more plausible loss.
I'll probably put them back as a W when football season gets closer. Hell, I might even have us winning 7 or 8 games when the season opens. I always seem to do that the closer it gets. All the hype & Razorback rah rah spirit gets to me every year & makes me BELIEVE, regardless of the odds.
Eta - beating GA in LR would be wonderful!! I'll probably have us down for a W against them about the first of August.
