Vols, how is Jalen Hurd looking in practice?

I read that he's doing good but the defense he's going up against is horrible and slow.

He looks terrible - as Tee Martin said, he's slow and weak and USC wouldn't allow him on their practice squad. Coach Jones has to start considering forfeiting a few games, especially against Vandy.

Best athlete on the team, per just about every outlet (Scout, 247, Rivals).

Currently, second on the depth chart behind Sr. Marlin Lane. Most expect them to have an even share of the work load.

Dude is tearing it up for real. He enjoys hitting defenders and defenders have gotten enough of that. We're trying to keep him from being just a high speed bowling ball because the kid has moves - he doesn't have to bowl you over, he can run right around you.

Actually the D will be much faster this year.
