Had my iPhone stolen out of my desk/office while at school and not sure what to get to replace it. I like the iPhone 5 but just wanting to see what people thought could be used to replace it.

Steal one off of somebody else. It's only fair.

Sounds good. But what if they dont have AT&T compatible? Then did all the work for nothing.

I just got a text message video from ATT. They said to get insurance for $6.99 a month. I can't pull the trigger on throwing money away (knock on wood).

Sad part is I had insurance on her phone and my mom's but never mine. I was usually the one who never left it around or in sight of anyone while at school. But yup I be stupids.

Nexus 5 . . I think it'll work with AT&T. It blows the iphone out of the water, and I think is 350 with no contract.

Can do what my friend did when his iPad was stolen. Used the find it app. Walked up to the house where the app said it was. Knocked on the door. And kicked the living shite out of the thug that answered. Got his iPad back. Fwiw my friend owns a mma gym and is a crazy sob. My SO had her phone stolen. She said if you had the serial number to the phone, go to att and report it stolen. Once the person try's to activate the phone att will hold it.

i am a mobile phoneaphile.

i don't see a big jump from the 5 to the 5s, at least not enough to jump if you're not due an upgrade.

If you're willing to look around at others,

Galaxy has been a solid line for a while. the S5 should be out in a few months. I don't know a soul that doesn't like their Note.

HTC one has been universally liked.

LG has come a long way. The optimus G and G2 are great phones

I have the LG G2, like it because I could just turn it on and use it, now I'm slowly exploring it's capabilities. Plus I bought it a purple case on eBay and purple stuff makes me happy.

i kept going to best buy to get the G2 when it was free but they were always out so i went with the Optimus G and have liked it a lot.

for what it's worth i rock 2 phones (iphone 5 and G0 and i use the iphone a lot more. and i hate apple.
