I have always been a fan of a pocket QB, but are we falling behind by not having one. A lot of the top teams seem to have one that can extend a play if not being used as part of the ground game. I'm all for changing my old school taste. Do we have anyone on the roster or coming in that might be able to fill that role.

Peavey can't throw very well though.

Well, he's not a polished thrower, but to say that is a little much.

I have fallen in love with the read option offense. Both in real life and on NCAA. It's hard to shut down an offense with that many available options on any given play. Auburn's QB is not a good QB by regular standards, but he torched Bama today because he has so many options on every play. You can't possibly contain the run from the HB, the threat of the QB running, while also defending 3-4 receivers. I really hope 2beez heads that direction when Peavey is ready to start.
