Does Marshall's knowledge of and relationship with the Georgia team positively or negatively effect him in this game? I could see it both ways but I'm curious as to the popular opinion.

He was a part of the "Dream Team". Many of those are gone. He doesn't know any from the 2012 class or 2013.

There are probably only a hadful of players that he konws.

Considering he isn't a head case, I'd say he's probably more motivated to dominate in this game, and it will have a positive impact on his performance.

if I had to pick a side, I'd say it probably will have a slight negative impact at the beginning of the game... I could see him coming out all ampted and overthrow dudes early.

will be critical for him to settle down and just play... no need too excited one way or another.

He hasn't gotten emotional all year. This will be a huge test but I think he'll stay level headed. So neither

That kid has ice water in his veins. He has the same expression on his face whether he is leading a game winning drive or giving a post game interview. I know he has extra motivation to want to beat Georgia but I don't see it effecting him either way.

Will it effect him? Yes

Will it effect him negatively? I personally do not believe it will.

After he settles in I think his knowledge of the Georgia defense and all of its schemes should help.

He'll be calm and even keel all through the game and afterwards when he meets Richt to shake hands and steal his wallet on the 50.

I could see him throwing an INT or fumbling early but when it matters we know he'll turn it on

It can't possibly hurt to have a starting QB that used to play on the opposing teams defense.
