to have any serious injuries. I have not heard of any so Bama should be 100% ready for MSU. Cant speak for the LSU team since obviously their pride and ego are severely damaged

Saban said AJ's shoulder was hurt from the UT game, he only got hit once though, so he should be fine.

Just looking on the surface of it all, I think this is the best we've looked - health wise - coming out of the LSU game since 2009.

Like that '09 game, we just took over in the 4th quarter and CRUSHED them.

Any news on whether or not Norwood is 100%? He may have just played through injury.

Hopefully, Norwood just had the wind knocked out of him. Of course, he survived that non-targeting call too.

I didn't have a problem with the refs decision. I think the LSU player was a bit jacked up and in the speed of play it looks like the WR wasn't down but resting on top of the defender. We have seen big plays come out of this before a la that Auburn RB vs Oregon a few years back. The better move would have been to push him down with his hands. After the play Loston and AJ hugged it out so that's another reason I don't think it was a dirty play, just a dumb one.

I agree that it was dumb rather than dirty, but it was helmet to helmet and the guy should have been called for targeting. Calling a late hit was bullshite because--as far as I can remember--the whistle hadn't blown and Norwood was still on top of the defender as you said.

The fact that AJ was laughing with Loston was plenty for me.

Was it late? No, I don't think so.

Was it leading the helmet, attacking the head/neck area? Yes, but I'm glad it wasn't called. Stupid rule, won't teach players anything.

I thought it was clear targeting on Dix's hit on Landry when Belue was going for the pick so it evened out. Dix's contact wasn't helmet to helmet but it was a high hit on a defensless receiver over the middle.
