When it's getting cold like this we usually let a pot of chilli cook all day....so goooooooood. Not really game day food but still....

I've done chili many times as a game day food. Being in the Midwest, it's a lot more common up here, especially for NFL fans.

Damn that sounds good.
So do mini-corndogs.
I'm headed to the store. I'll check in on my phone in case there are any last minute suggestions.

Hot wings, fried potatoes, jiffy corn bread muffins. Weird family LSU tradition.

Rotel dip is always good...buy some hot sausage to make it a bit more spicy!

I hope my wife will go to my favorite BBQ place and get me some wings.

I did some ham and cheese pinwheels on wheat tortillas, chicken quesadillas and a cream cheese dip. The dip is so easy. Mix a package of cream cheese, can of rotel and some shoepeg corn and heat on stove or crockpot. It is actually really good.

Mmmmm. Sounds good. Im going simple, weenie sausages in sweet baby rays, tortilla chips with white cheese and rotel. Maybe some bean dip.

I wish we were having a potluck up in here.
I ended up with chicken fajita nachos for lunch, washing it down with a Shiner Hefeweizen.
Dinner will be bacon-wrapped chicken thighs in a homemade brown sugar BBQ glaze and Blue Moon.
By the way, I was in the checkout line at Costco earlier when I heard "Roll Tide!" Turned to see the guy behind me decked out in Bama gear (I had a Bama pullover sweatshirt on). We exchanged a firm handshake and some thoughts on the game.
That wouldn't be that cool of a story, bro, if I weren't in Peoria, Illinois. We takin over!
