A Stat From Saturday's Game That Has Been Overlooked

We were only penalized one time for five yards Saturday. I believe it was an illegal formation on a kickoff or punt.
I honestly can't remember the last time that we played such a clean game. You would think that with all of the screen passes we had there would have been at least a couple of holding calls.

Ziemba is gone thus less holding and false starts.

I disliked ziemba with a passion. He could kill a drive like no other.

Greg Robinson says hello with his daily holding call.
Or two.
I did notice the lack of penalties. And you are correct, it was a illegal formation penalty

It always burns me up when we get a substitution or illegal formation penalty.
With Gus' system, you would expect the players and coaches to have those two items down to a science.

it was one of the plays in the opening drive, there were like 40 motions happening before the snap, I saw it coming. but overall good stat compared to the last two

It was a nice surprise to have such a clean game. However, 3 turnovers kinda overshadowed that stat.

That penalty was decline and did not count.
The only one that we were pentalized for was an illegal motion on a punt where they fair caught the ball around the 20 and took 5 yards after the catch

I must say Jaylon Denson is the best blocking receiver I've seen in a long time.
