Star Jackson - recall the young man being an awesome pick up when he committed. Now I read where he left Coach Curry's program.
What was the deal with this kid? Not good enough talent, lack of desire or just a flame out?

One of these high school phenoms who played in a very simple offense and put up good numbers. Never could pick up more complex plays and wasn't really into it. He was pretty much the team in high school and had to compete in college and didn't really want to do that. Would have been a better QB in a simpler QB oriented system. It happens.

He tried his best but just couldn't pick it up. He got a lot of cheers when he played against Bama
