Steve Spurrier: “I noticed both USCs had their pro timing day today. One of them finished No. 7 in the country, the other was not in the Top 25, yet ESPN decided to go out to the one in California which did not finish in the Top 25 and televise their day live. It’s interesting that (ESPN) doesn’t come around here on signing day, they don’t come around here on pro timing day, and yet they want us to play all these Thursday night games. Maybe we need to consider playing on that new network, FoxSports 1"

We are all gonna miss the OBC when he is finally gone. All the other coaches drone on in the same old coach-speak. SS makes college football fun.

I agree with him. I don't mind FoxSports. As long as they find some guys who are familiar with the teams/players in the SEC then go for it.

Well the new SEC Network that's coming out is owned by ESPN so the only chance we have playing a national TV game on Fox is the Cotton bowl

OBC makes a valid point. Slive should stand up with him and tell ESPN the same.

I'm very critical of ESPN, but it is a business. Of course Southern Cal and Barkley are over rated, but ESPN is interested in selling advertisements. Southern Cal does that better than nearly everybody.

It's not a conspiracy, coach. It's capitalism.

Spurrier has been on fire this week...taking shots at Clemson, espn and his own offensive line.

Last year people thought he got his 'swag' back...I think it's even more evident so far this spring. Makes you wonder what could be in store this fall

This is why I root for USCe against all teams not named Mizzou.

OBC is the GOAT.

I do think ESPN would have shown up at USCe's Pro Day if Lattimore hadn't of gotten hurt. They don't have any "big name" draftee coming out now: a la Matt Barkley. ESPN will show up next year for Clowney's.

As far as signing day, USCe only signed 1 top 100 player #99, and he had committed already. Nothing to see there.

Steve Spurrier: I never once said " I'm just an old ball coach; I said "I'm just a head ball coach."

Too late now, OBC.
