17 games of hearing Auburn coaches say "we've gotta get better on defense and tacklin'." Well maybe you need to realize that your just not that talented on defense. Roof owes Newton for keeping him in a job for one more season. AU fans need to be concerend that they have a head coach who is supposed to be a defensive minded guy and his entire time there there has been no significant improvement in defensive fundamentals. Now that that high school offensive is no longer able to fool good coaching staffs with misdirection, allignments, reverses and trick play there are serious concerns on the plains. Enter full blown "next year is the year" mode from the AU nation.
