As is standard practice with all championship ceremonies at the White House, staff are expected to attend and remain professional at all times. There are also a few additional rules for this specific occasion:
Please make sure all computers are securely bolted down. This especially includes laptops.
Do not accept any payments from coaches. The coaches may claim that “you did a good job at work last week” and try to hand you cash. White House staff are prohibited from accepting these payments as a result of the Legislative Transparency and Accountability Act of 2006.
“Icon” or not, do not allow Cam Newton to sit at the President’s desk.
Recruiting limousines are not allowed on the White House grounds. The Auburn assistant coaches have been informed and are expected to comply.
