Im not trying to prove anything about LSU. We won ugly. I just hate when people make worthless excuses for a loss.

I think of myself as someone who can be pretty objective about things, but the excuses from Georgia are getting ridiculous.

Examples of good excuses:

#x dropped a pass in the endzone that would have been a TD...we should have won

phantom holding call that costs a team a good drive...

non-calls on pass interference....

erroneous fumble/interception calls

That call, no matter how bad, did not cause Georgia to lose. They were still in a position to win late in the game and they blew it.

I will jump in here again and say the same thing as yesterday. Most UGA fans on this board, myself included, have said the penalties were crap (all of them). But, at best it swung the field position battle a little for LSU at a critical juncture. All it means is that Scott has to run a little further after that. The call could have gone the complete other way, and if we dont tackle, who gives a flying frick. LSU wins.

We had one first down the entire first half. Our special teams play is terrible. You won, the call sucked, and everything that will ever be said forever and ever wont change the fact that LSU got the W. I see more LSU fans bringing it up than UGA. I feel fairly certain that our fan base is united around a) not letting Lame Kitten get his first big W against us and b) pulling like hell for you guys Saturday night.

I'm just tired of all this talk of a game that is past tense, we beat them it is over, all the talk now should be about this upcoming game with Fla., all this crying by Georgia is nuts.
