I think any analysis that is heavily based on the Clemson game or using the Clemson game with another couple of games is probably flawed.

Teams can improve over the course of the year.

That said, this is the best defense we will have faced since Clemson both in talent and in stats.

Georgia wants to establish the run and Bama has been rather stingy vs. the run in the last month. That could be a problem.

There is a gap between Clemson and the second best defense UGA has faced to this point. Where does this Bama D fall in that gap?

Is it close enough to Clemson's to be a major problem. Is it closer to Florida, Kentucky, S. Carolina or whoever is the second best? Other than Clemson and arguably Florida, no real struggles.

I don't think Georgia has to run the ball extremely well. They will have to run it well enough to make Bama respect it. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 3.75 to 4.0 yards per carry could do it.

Bennett is the primary reason we lost the game last year. Many of the mistakes he made in that game he seems to have corrected this year. Will the moment be too big for him again?

The problems with Bama's Oline are not gonna be fixed over night to allow them to hold up well Saturday. Can they scheme around that enough to score enough points to win?

Bama hasn't been able to run the ball well for weeks now. The idea that they will be able to in this game with the injuries and against a front that no one has really ran it well against all year except maybe Florida is far fetched.

Some of our fans are scared due to the past. But the Georgia players and coaching staff have wanted this game. "You're either elite or you're not" is something they have really bought into.

In last year's game, Monken had WRs and TEs open all game. Yes, even in the second half. Barmore caused some problems when UGA had to go more pass heavy to try and catch up. Bama has no one like Barmore on the interior this year. Stetson overthrew and underthrew WRs who could have taken it to the house. He also would lock on to WRs and throw into coverage and completely miss wide open guys on other areas of the field. That hasn't happened as much this year. He's definitely better. Is it enough?
