Their defense isn’t great. It’s got good individual players and often plays sound concepts. But their LBs and Safeties are easily confused and overmatched with pre snap motion and audibles. Their DL is ok but not a strength; Turner and Anderson are great young players but Turner is just that and Anderson is being forced to play at a position he is undersized for (DE). That doesnt make it awful as a unit, it’s just vulnerable and has had those vulnerabilities exposed over 12 games.

By comparison, the offense is also not great (lacking a dominant OL and run game) but it’s been good enough to win them 11 games.

Disagree, our DL is very good. Smith, Mathis and Young have become very good interior run defenders and Turner has evolved into an excellent edge setter the last month.

The interior guys aren't great pass rushers (Mathis is solid), but they are very good in the run game. Solid stonewallers and moreso have very good quickness.

We've played one of the best collection of rush offenses in America and our run numbers are still elite.
