The "scandal" he's referring to is Leath and Jacobs giving Gus that asinine contract that did indeed end with both of them leaving Auburn.

In all honesty, I'm much too close the AU dynamics than I'd ever chose to be as a Bammer. But what the hell can you do with family relations?
