I switched my pick to carolina when the ridley news hit

Ridley is "stepping away from football to focus on his mental well being". Great. Another poor performing athlete using the mental health excuse because the media has deemed that to be a protected group and he will not receive an ounce of pushback.

Unless there really is some shite going on behind the scenes, Blank needs to never let Ridley wear a Falcons uniform again.

Yeah. I read his statement just a couple minutes ago.

This is a tough one. Because there is no information in the statement other than I'm not in a good place.

I don't know that we deserve to know more. But I feel like the statement at face value is just BS speak.

This is also happening in other sports - Rui Huchimara and Ben Simmons. The franchises should be punishing them and yet they are being coddled and fed media narratives that are in favor of the athlete that isn't doing his fricking job and is under contract - except for Ben Simmons - the media has been running hit pieces on him essentially calling him spoiled and a child and to basically shut up and play because he doesn't want to play for a team that dogged his arse for losing to Atlanta. The rest of these spoiled arse athletes are the perfect poster children for modern parenting.
