I think it could be as fun as the Tennessee - Ole Miss game minus the trash.
And the garbage that they were throwing on the field.

Depends on the condition of Owen Pappoe.
If he and Zakoby are 100% - Ole Miss won’t be able to run.

They could. Arky, Tenn, and LSU all were equally as confident.

I agree that the Ole Miss run game is the pivot point of this game. But if we can’t run it will be because of our offensive line. They havent played well in the big road games at Bama and Tenn. and we are especially beat up at that position at the moment. I think if they play well we win this game. I’m just not confident that they will.

Auburn is a good football team, and we have to play them on the road at night. They have every reason to at least have some confidence that they can beat us.
The key for us is going to be if we can limit Nix's legs and keep him in the pocket, and in turn, whether our defense can hold Auburn to 24ish points (Auburn has scored 24 or less points in 3 out of 7 games this year - 2 of those 3 games ended in Auburn losing). We do that, we win. We don't do that, we probably lose.

To be fair, Arky would've beaten you if their QB hadn't gone retard on the final two point conversion, and Tenn would have beaten you if y'all had a competent officiating crew.
Y'all whipped LSU's asses, though. I wish we got to play them late instead of before all their good players quit.

Ole Miss has a lot of injuries. We need the run game and defense to play like it did Saturday.

I agree.
Bama held us to 78 yards on 34 carries. 10 of those carries were from Matt Corral and 2 of those 10 were sacks. Ole Miss backs had 24 carries for 75 yards against the Tide and a long rush of 10. That's not a recipe for success.
It's the same story against Tennessee, except Corral's running, particularly on third down, saved the day for the Rebels. While we ran for 279 against the Vols, Matt Corral had 30 carries and 5 of those carries were sacks. Against the Vols, Rebel backs had 32 carries for 84 yards and a long rush of 10. Again, that's not a recipe for success.
Auburn has given up 200+ on the ground in consecutive SEC contests. Arkansas backs had 37 carries for 166 yards against the Tigers and Dawg backs had 41 carries for 162.
It's clear the Rebel line and backs will have their work cut out for them Saturday night on the Plains.

Unfortunately for Ole Miss it does seem like Auburn is catching Ole Miss at a good time for Auburn.

We might have beaten Alabama if we get a few more fourth down conversions. Am I doing this right?

Please ignore the facts Arkansas chose to go for two, possessed the ball on the final play of regulation, and could not convert from three yards out.
Please also ignore the facts the refs correctly spotted the Vol ballcarrier short of the line to gain, Tennessee immediately got a three and out against the Rebel offense, and Tennessee ran three plays from the Ole Miss 21 yardline before time expired.
Those are not important facts.

On the two point play, the QB attempted a pass when the entire offense thought it was a run and their entire offensive line was illegally downfield. He could've moonwalked into the endzone on the play. Hence, the QB went full tard on the play.
I agree that the spot was correct at the end of the Tennessee game. It's just about the only thing that crew got correct that night.
Please ignore these important facts, too.
