There's plenty of context in the article if you actually read it.

That he faced fewer stacked boxes than 16 other running backs in the league last year and fewer stacked boxes last year (by a wide margin) than any other year in his career. That teams, league wide, are stacking the box less than they used to.

And all that means nothing without comparing numbers of carries and what the down and distance was.

Any good resources for someone who has to take a C++ class for my EE degree next semester?

Here is a tutorial.

But I would also hit your nearest book store and pick up a C/C++ book and read it, front to back. Then read it again. That is what I did to teach myself programming.

And as someone else said, start making your own programs.
Think of a problem you want to solve and try to make the program that solves it. Start simple and work your way up.

Being a good programmer is being a good problem solver.

I don’t need to be told what makes a good programmer… I learned all about it in college.

He's already on a HOF track. The only thing that will keep him out of the "greatest of all time" convo will be health. He's built like a brick shite-house, so we'll see.

If running an IT Dept has taught me anything, where you learn programming is not nearly as significant as what projects you've completed using the knowledge. Nothing more useless in a job interview than, "Where did you learn X?"

Best question: "Give me a project you're proud of and why."

If by shitty you mean I pick and choose my clients?

If by shitty you mean I do what I love to do so it isn't even like work?

If by shitty you mean I get up every morning knowing I will enjoy the day?

If by shitty you mean I have worked from home for 15 years and can work from anywhere in the world that has decent internet?

If by shitty you mean a person that has successfully programmed for over 35 years?

Yep, I'm a shitty programmer. Damn I love being a shitty programmer. :) It turns out being a shitty programmer is a pretty freaking nice gig!

What success? He hasn’t won shite.

oOoOoh a rUshiNG tItLe! You know who won that four years ago? Yeah, no one does because it’s worthless.

Super Bowl Champion Leonard Fournette will live on for forever and ever! Deal with it.

Yeah no one thinks of him when they think of the super bowl. They think of Brady. You know the guy whose coat-tails he rode to the super bowl.

Just start reading books about the subject and don't give up. You can do anything you set your mind to. Unless you are WilliamTaylor21 licking windows and eating crayons on the short bus, that is.

There is a huge market for good programmers after we mostly got eliminated with the offshore shite. If you can speak English, read a concept, and produce a deliverable, you are going to make bank.

Remember, never accept defeat like that little nancy tranny WilliamTaylor21 does every day of its pathetic one tooth meth induced triggered life. It will never be a woman. Because it gave up trying to be a man. Instead, aspire to be the Derrick Henry of the programming world and make your own history.

Do not start with C/C++ it's 2021 for God's sake you don't want to be learning by watching compiler churn or dealing with makefiles.

If you're a beginner do the beginner thing in 2021 and learn Python.

You're welcome.
