The secondary took some losses with Tykee and Kimber having never played a snap. They were to be starters or in heavy rotation.

Ringo looks the part but hasn't been tested except against Ross. The corners behind him and Kendrick are the ones to attack.

All 14 points were scored by USC in the Rose Bowl. They were unscored on in the regular season.

So, UT outscored opponents 505-30 over a 2 year stretch.

Every offense outside of Clemson (which is downright terrible), has played into Georgia's defense strength. That would be stopping the running game.

Kentucky had the #1 receiver in the conference going into the UGA game.
We held him to 12 catches for 51 total yards (and 1 rush for 6 yards).

The current #1 receiver in the conference is treylon burks.
We held him to 3 catches for 10 yards.

Opponents want to throw on us. They have the players to throw to. You are seeing results and not understanding how they are being reached.

Yeah, Arkansas 86th ranked passing attack and Kentucky's 100 ranked passing attack are really elite.

Throw in South Carolina's 80th, UAB's 99th, Clemson's 107th, Vandy's 98th are deadly too.

Auburn has the best passing attack Georgia has played and they are 49th.

One again, Georgia hasn't played a team yet or will play a team that can challenge them vertically until the SEC Championship Game.

They weren’t even the best defense in their own division that year.

Dont get salty because kentucky and arkansas has 2 of the best receivers in the SEC. Lol

Why does it hurt you so much?
Wan'Dale Robinson put up 16.25 yards per catch against Florida. 4.42 per catch against Georgia.

Treylon Burks put up 27.83 yards per catch against A&M. 3.33 yards per catch against Georgia.

Lol

Then win out - and get your shot at Georgia to prove your point.

But I'm telling you this - Alabama does not have a single offensive lineman that can block one of those three tackles from Georgia.

Do you send four or five receivers out - and Georgia just pushes the line into your QB's lap ? Or do you run it right at 'em for about two yards a gain ? Maybe some side to side screen stuff - where their LBs meet the ball at the point of attack ?

You tell me. Nobody has solved the riddle yet.

Some of this will certainly balance out after Bama and the CFP should we make it. But the stats you reference are teams UGA played and we're only 7 games in- that alone will skew their stats significantly.

We all assume you have to attack vertically and we may be vulnerable. And that hypothesis may very well be correct. Getting a clean pocket to execute a downfield attack is where the breakdowns have occurred. We don't give a lot of clean pockets and it's hard to throw vertically while running for your life.

Guess we'll sit back and see how it plays out.

They need to play some really good offenses before I could make that judgment. Most of their games have been against weak opponents (and yes, I'm including Clemson there)
