What does Fulmer's contract situation look like? I thought I had read that he had been given a 7 year extension recently. If that is true, Tenn is stuck with him for a while.

contract extensions mean nothing. plenty of UT boosters will pony up to buy that thing out. shula was given an extension the year before he's fired.
i thought it would be imposssible for phil to be fired this year, but if he has a bad enough season i think he might lose the support of the AD and be forced to resign.
i'll go w/ the wildcard here...lane kiffin is going to be looking for a job, and he would be an excellent coach who could recruit nationally (especially cali.). exactly what UT needs.
