Yet you have not started a thread calling out Auburn fans. maybe you haven't noticed it because you choose to ignore it?

I probably don’t notice because of biases. Which is why i didn’t say no to your first question and said maybe instead. I can’t point things out I don’t notice.

That does fit the definition, does it not?

No it does not. You’re wildly misunderstanding the definition.

quote:

I mean being morally superior to someone is actually a good thing, is it not? Don't you feel like you are morally superior to Hitler, for instance? Should we not all try to be morally superior?

Actually being morally superior is a good thing yes. Thinking you’re morally superior to someone that your not? No not a good thing.

Using your own example, Hitler thought his race was morally superior to Jews which is what he used to justify the genocide. Would you say that’s wrong?

By the way. that wasn't "my" definition. It's in the dictionary.

I only said it that way as in that’s the definition you pulled. You could pull many different definitions from different dictionaries. I wasn’t questioning the definition.

Understood. However, when it is pointed out by several people from several fan bases, maybe there is some fire with that smoke? perhaps a closer less biased look would be in order.

I absolutely am not. You are.

Then you admit that Auburn fans are guilty of the same thing? because we have plenty of threads where Auburn fans called for Georgia fans to be shot with rubber bullets and a couple saying they should be shot with real bullets because they stormed a field.

Okay.

So you made a moral judgement about Georgia fans based upon your own moral superiority. Using your logic, this thread is criticizing us for us thinking we are morally superior to Auburn. In making that judgement that places you in a morally superior position over other fans.

"We are morally superior to Georgia because Georgia considers themselves to be morally superior to Auburn!
And we don't think we are morally superior!"

The irony of claiming someone else thinks they are morally superior and that is wrong is astounding. It inherently says that you are morally superior because you don't think of yourself that way when in fact the very act of bringing it up shows you do think you are morally superior.
