I think it was a panic move on his new contract. There was some smoke from Sumlin's agent about USC being interested in Sumlin. They NEVER were. It was laughable.
Not going to be said around here but a lot of people on this board were worried about Sumlin leaving and were in FULL support of Sumlin's new contract.
