I haven't heard one yet that was excited by this spread. Most say if they had to, they'd pick Arkansas because it's too many points to a team that's playing as well as Arkansas is right now.

A few have said they'd go with Georgia, but think there are better games to wager on.

When they start breaking it down, the only thing they really talk about with Arkansas is how great they've looked, how Pittboss has done a great job, and that they are very physical. Do point out that the WR is explosive.

But they don't really have to defend Arkie much because most of the public thinks the Hogs shouldn't be given so many points.

The counter, or several reasons given why they are not taking the points.

- the schedule may not be great, but UGA just looks the part on defense.
-the UGA defense has been top ten type for four seasons plus. (again saying there is no reason to doubt UGA's defense based on this year's schedule)
-the UGA defense hasn't let an extreme run heavy team put up points for several seasons now.
-Arkansas only put up 20 on A&M at a neutral field. A&M has a good defense, but there is still a gap between A&M and UGA.
- JT is the best QB Arkansas has faced to this point, and it's not close.
-Neither Texas nor A&M had the QBs they thought they'd have to start the season this year. QBs that were supposed to be better than what they have now.
-They can't find any matchup outside of their best WR vs. our corners that Arkansas has an advantage and that one is tied to a QB who is a run first guy doing something he's not great at.
-If Arkansas gets down early by a couple of TDs, it could get ugly. The offense is not made to get them back in games.

the -18.5 is the biggest spread ever between two top 10 teams.

This is a classic "Vegas knows" scenario. The perception from the public and talking heads can't fathom the number, but a lot of them do not follow our program and only pay attention to what happened yesterday. Assuming week to week consistency is a major and common flaw in sports betting. Vegas exposes this.

After the 17-18-19 seasons, along with the uptick last season, I look forward to Saturdays not for wild fanatical reasons. I simply want to learn the truth of our football team, how well the coaches are developing the players, etc..

This group of upperclassmen have endured the unendurable.

Most Georgia fans that I’ve interacted with are looking forward to a hard fought game on Saturday for much of the same reasons as me. To learn the truth and with a win, prepare them for other hard games this season.

Of course we both want to finish the game with no injuries.

It has been nice to see how complimentary Georgia fans are about Sam and his staff.

Let’s go out and have both teams execute and have a game that makes everyone enjoy a good game.

UGA wins all day, but the spread is too much.

I think we beat the spread but I can understand why it’s so high.

I really think UGA is one of or maybe the best team in the country this year. Everybody knows about the defense but I think the offense is more capable than some might think. Even in the Clemson game I thought the offense passed the eye test, but they played within the game and trusted their defense. If the game situation called for it, I believe they would have scored more.

That said I do like the way I could see this game playing out for the hogs. We’ll follow the Clemson blueprint of forcing long drives. That’s what we do anyway. That gives us a chance to keep it close into the 4th quarter, and anything can happen from there.

Our offense isn’t super polished yet but it will be the best UGA has faced this year. Especially with a dual threat QB, I think the dogs allow some points. Not a lot but some.

I think UGA is a better team that Bama or Florida, but I like our chances vs UGA way more than if we were playing Bama or Florida

Factor in Kirby’s tendency to get conservative in big games and to make a couple really dumb decisions in those games, and you’ve got a toss up basically. Lol. Georgia will win because there at home and Arkansas’s offense just doesn’t match up with Georgia at all. Team that will challenge Georgia will be a team that is dynamic on offense and throws the ball all around. No way they lose with that schedule. Will cruise to SEC championship.
