Not horseshite. Bobby Bowden and Barry Switzer made this point 40+ years ago. Hell, Barry credited his father's black mistress as the reason he did so well recruiting in black homes.
Fact is, in our personal lives, we are pretty segregated. So we don't really comprehend the different priorities of people with different backgrounds. One group looks at the "boycott" as a problem where another sees it as "about time." Its Navigating those differences has an effect on recruiting.

40 years ago? Seriously? I can guarantee fricking-t-you not one real “player” looks through his face mask and sees color, he only sees another player.
