Everything that Pinkle built was destroyed by that 2015 team

fricking done with Pettiway Nicholson Robinson Manuel and Rakestraw. They all had a chance to make a tackle and didn’t. Rakestraw fricking quit cuz he was running next to the guy at the 5 and pulled up and let him score never even trying to tackle him

It just amazes me how bad this defense is. I want to watch this game I really do. But it's just so awful.

That’s an extreme over simplification to put it all on one team. It’s 6 years later. Something tells me that while that team got the ball rolling there is a lot of other shot since then that holds blame

That’s just not true. In a sport that is predominantly black with parents that had certain concerns, his stance helped reinforce a commitment to those kids. I have heard that from many black players.

If we want to be real, then let’s be real. We had a recruiting problem that after transitioning to the SEC has further hurt us. Because of our “support”, which goes past fans but to the donors and other things needed to pull recruits, coaching talent coming to Mizzou has been an issue.

After the rebuilds at the top SEC programs, does Pinkel fields a consistent 7 win team with breaks to get to 10 in the last 7 years, probably, would that be the ceiling under him? That’s a resounding yes.

What Drinkwitz can potentially do is groundbreaking to push this program to where it needs to go. On the other hand, he is showing a glaring problem for a head coach. I understand lack of talent and recognize we don’t have horses, but what you see on defense is inexcusable. I don’t care we lost people to the portal and etc. You are facing a Tennessee team who has every similar excuse but you have a head coach who has successfully navigate respectability to some extent. As a SEC team, there is no excuse to be this bad and that’s on Drink.
