I'm much more interested in that side of the ball in this game personally.

Our OL has been good in pass pro but less than optimal in run blocking. If pass pro holds up as well as it has, Arkansas will either have to send more than 3, or JT will have literally all day to throw on 90% of his drop backs. I like Kearis Jackson/Ladd McConkey/Jermaine Burton's ability to go sit in a zone void of Odom's umbrella coverage and pick up consistent yardage in that scenario. On the other hand, I *don't* know whether I can trust our OL to block to get high success on the ground. Our backs need to skip looking for the homerun this week and really just look at each rep as a generally a one cut, get up field scenario. If they're popping off for 3 yards before contact, it'll be a long day for Arky defense. If Ericson is getting blown up at the LOS and we're getting a ton of first contact at the LOS or in the backfield, going to put a lot of pressure on the passing game.

Ultimately, we have to win one of those battles (short passing game or running game) to force Odom to switch things up. If/When we force Arky to cover players in man, Bowers/Burton/Mitchell/Cook could easily take the top off. Will be interested to see if we get Arian Smith back this week. He's got the wheels to pressure Arkansas safeties back a bit, which should open up the zone holes a bit more.
