You're uh, kind of forgetting that State had LSU punting the ball away and were it not for an incredibly stupid special teams penalty, they never would have been down 18 at all.
Double the 1st downs, 150 more total yards. Having almost double the rushing yards. 60% time of possession .Pretty clear that MSU just shot itself in the foot numerous times.
