The only other way to interpret what he said was that the two running plays weren't going to gain many yards anyway which... man I don't want to think about the implications of Jimbo saying he calls plays that he believes aren't good enough to matter.
Best case scenario is that he mixed up Ainias with Achane but even then Achane only got the single carry after Spiller's TD and it was for 8 yards. I have a hard time believing Jimbo thinks an 8 yard carry on 1st and 10 isn't explosive enough to matter in a one score game.

Lets be brutally honest, at a certain point in the game we all knew Calzada and that offense weren't going to be able to do enough to win. So im not gonna be mad at Jimbo for not believing a play will be successful
We'll never get an honest answer nut i would like to know how many run plays jimbo called that calzada checked out of
And it is very bad/sad that Jimbo doesn't remember 1) how many run plays he called and 2) who they were called for
