Mond wasn't scared to take off and run. He also didn't run himself into pressure the way Calzada did. ZC bailed at least 6 or 7 times when the line was either completely fine or just needed him to step up and throw.

And held on to the ball forever, throw it away or run man but sitting back for 8-9 seconds and not getting rid of the ball is insane to me

Calzada compared to 2017 Kellen Mond.

4 games in

Mond: 50-99-2 for 649 yards and 6 TD, 35 carries for 157 yards and 1 TD

Calzada: 57-108-3 for 609 yards and 4 TD, 16 carries for 25 yards

Looks pretty even to me.
