And again, I ask all of you: how many years has team #4 shown they belong in the playoff and not get blown off the field by #1

I think everyone should be in the playoffs. Start the year ranking everyone. This ranking could be a combination of lots of polls. Then have #1 play #13?. By about week 6 or so you would know who the top teams were. Then wait to the end of season to have the 2 playoff games and bowl games.

Now for the regular schedule, most teams know who they are going to play each year. You could develop schedules on the fly just like BYU did last year

I am going to assume you are talking about the year the game was played in and not the season.

2015 is a legit, no blow out.
42-35

2018 was 24-6. Hardly a close game. The score at the end of the 3rd quarter was 24-6. Clemson was never close.

2019 was 45-34..31-10 halftime. Oklahoma scored with 1:45 seconds left in the game to pull within 11.

So the real answer would be once in 7 years. yet people think adding 8 more teams will give us better games and make things exciting?
