I do think the covid year off will have a lasting impact on fan attendance going forward
I also think the transfer portal is going to hurt as well
No more loyalty to team and programs anymore
Players will come and go and the whole NIL deal is going to create competitive imbalances which is going to affect teams going forward

The fifth-largest crowd in the history of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium was howling. With the fourth quarter about to begin and Florida storming back into the game against No. 1-ranked Alabama, 90,887 fans sang along to the Tom Petty anthem, "I Won't Back Down."
