I would say - and have said talking ball face to face - that LSU has the best location and best culture for producing college ball players I've ever seen. Louisiana produces hungry ball players in mass quantities, and several rich states are just a half day drive away.

But - we've seen - let's be honest - LSU is not immune to a bad series of hires. The firing of Les Miles was precisely because the recruits didn't match the results ... and before Les Miles ain't exactly a great stretch of LSU football.

NO - LSU is no "Destination". It's where over-ambitious coaches go to die because they can't handle the expectations.
