Actually, Bama is the outlier here:
"Who’s a fan?: Auburn and UAB fans are more likely to have a direct connection to the school, such as attending the school or having a spouse or child attend. While 76.6% of Auburn fans and 87.6% of UAB fans have such a connection, only 50.6% of Alabama fans report this personal affiliation with their team."
