Still is a military school or sorts, the cadets for the most part live in their own dorms or barracks. The only real difference is now guys can go to UNG without joining the cadets. Get to hear that damn horn in the middle of the night every now and then too

Guys have been been able to go without joining the cadets for a long time. I enrolled originally in 1991 and didn’t join the cadets. I was an absolute slackass and dropped out after a semester and joined the Air Force.
