I don’t see how this is worse. Now we know to load the box and make a green QB beat us.

I wouldnt take them lightly still we have made backup QBs look like Patrick Mahomes in the past, but im sure every team we face is gonna run up and down the field on us until we figure something out.

I read their backup has started 10 games before so he’s not exactly inexperienced. Now they’ll just run the ball down our throats.

Hopefully we can put up 35+ because we’ll need to

Grosel is a backup with some experience. In BC’s final game against Virginia last year he threw for 520 yards and 4 TD’s. He had 3 picks and was sacked 4 times.

Grosel was 11-14 for 199 yards against UMass and only had 59 yards passing last week. In last years Virginia game he proved that he can sling if he has to.

Grosel’s biggest 2 flaws is that he holds on to the ball to long and sometimes throws into coverage.

On paper BC has a even offensive attack with 627 passing yards and 611 rushing yards.

I think BC has a very good offensive line returning 5 starters. LT Varbel is healthy and in 2019 when he was healthy he did not allow a sack. After Vrabel was injured last year he moved to RT. However BC only rushed for around 100 yards a game last year. That was ranked 118th in FBS

I think to win we will need to take an early lead and hope Grosel makes some mistakes.
